Twisted Series by Ana Huang

Hello Everyone!

This is your girl, Manasvi. So, I finally finished the Twisted series by Ana Huang, and OMG, I have so many feelings. This series took me on a wild ride of emotions; love, heartbreak, rage, and straight-up obsession. Each book follows a different couple, and trust me, these relationships are intense. There’s something for everyone, grumpy-sunshine, enemies-to-lovers, forbidden romance, and even fake dating. If you love romance books that make you feel everything, you NEED to read this series.

1.Twisted Love: This one is about Ava Chen and Alex Volkov, and let me tell you, Alex is TOXIC, but in the best way. He’s cold, broody, and obsessed with Ava in a way that should be illegal. Ava, on the other hand, is this sweet, sunshiny girl who deserves the world. Their love story is full of passion, angst, and some serious jaw-dropping moments. (Spoiler Alert! Alex’s revenge plot?? His whole deal with Ava’s family?? I WAS SHOCKED.) I loved the chemistry, but Alex’s possessiveness was a lot at times. Still, this book had me in a chokehold.

2.Twisted Games: THIS. THIS BOOK. Bridget and Rhys OWN MY SOUL. If you love bodyguard romances with insane tension and the best slow burn ever, you will EAT THIS UP. Rhys is a grumpy, protective, and slightly scary bodyguard, and Bridget is literally a princess (yes, a real one). Their forbidden romance is everything. stolen glances, secret touches, the whole “I shouldn’t want you, but I do” vibe. (Spoiler Alert! The way Rhys literally risks everything for Bridget?? AND THAT ONE SCENE IN THE RAIN??? DEAD.) This book was pure perfection, and Rhys might be my favorite book boyfriend of the series.

3.Twisted Hate: Enemies-to-lovers AND friends-with-benefits? Sign me up. Josh Chen and Jules Ambrose have this hate-filled, insult-throwing, tension-filled relationship, and it’s honestly so fun to read. Josh is cocky and annoying, and Jules gives it right back to him. They claim to hate each other, but the chemistry? OFF THE CHARTS. (Spoiler Alert! Jules’ past catching up to her? The way Josh has to decide between holding onto his hate or actually caring for her? I was STRESSED.) This book was fun, steamy, and emotional in a way I wasn’t expecting.

4.Twisted Lies: The final book is all about Christian Harper and Stella Alonso, and WOW, this was a whole different level of obsession. Christian is a billionaire, morally grey, and dangerously in love with Stella. Fake dating? Yes. Possessive, protective, slightly unhinged love? YES. Christian gives “I would burn the world for you” energy, and I was LIVING for it. (Spoiler Alert! The way he handles Stella’s stalker situation?? His devotion to her?? I was SCREAMING.) This book was dark, romantic, and absolutely addictive.

Overall, this series ruined me in the best way possible. Ana Huang knows exactly how to write swoon-worthy guys and strong heroines, and even though some parts had me yelling at my books, I couldn’t stop reading. If you love intense romance with angsty plot twists and a little bit of pain, this series is for you. Just be prepared, because once you start, you won’t be able to stop.
